Q: What is the AI Assistant you’re working on?
A: It’s an active AI Assistant, which we call an AI Agent. We focus on real estate professionals and property management. AI is causing massive disruption across nearly all industries, including ours.
Q: What’s the significance of 2025 for your project?
A: 2025 is the year we’re connecting with our first several dozen clients. It’s also the year when we plan to scale the business to new regions beyond Cyprus, which is our home and pilot market. Cyprus is a small market but very accessible, making it ideal to test hypotheses and gather feedback.
Q: How are you planning to expand your market?
A: We are expanding to larger countries like Greece, Spain, and the UK, which presents bigger opportunities.
Q: What’s your perspective on data usage by real estate professionals?
A: Many real estate professionals don’t fully utilize their data. Without leveraging your own data streams like CRM, you can’t do effective machine learning, AI, or automation. Data is foundational.
Q: How should real estate professionals approach AI integration?
A: They need to think of data first — not just CRM tools, but viewing data properly to enable machine learning and automation. Once that’s in place, applying AI becomes much easier and creates competitive advantages.
Q: How does Placy fit into the real estate industry?
A: Placy is an AI Agent focused on very specific parts of the real estate value chain traditionally done manually. It doesn’t compete with existing tools like CRM systems or marketing platforms but complements them as a new, unique instrument in a human-driven niche.
Q: Are there opportunities for partnerships with Placy?
A: Yes, since Placy doesn’t compete with other service providers in the value chain, partnerships are very possible. Many communications like phone calls and WhatsApp messages can be automated using large language models, which is what Placy focuses on.
Q: What excites you about this moment in AI development?
A: We’re participating in an Industrial Revolution — an unprecedented, massive disruption across industries. Being involved in this with the Placy startup, which began as a paper concept 1.5 years ago and has since gone through prototyping, registration, fundraising, and client testing, is a perfect entrepreneurial experience. I enjoy it every morning.
